Optimal Management of ICH: Improving Outcomes is a live, interactive Web teleconference that will review the latest evidence-based information on the diagnosis and management of ICH. Presented by an expert in ICH, this interactive forum will include issues in the general management of ICH in the EMS, ED, and ICU/NICU settings, as well as the most up-to-date specific treatments to address hematoma expansion, elevated intracranial pressure, and secondary brain injury. Through presentation of clinical studies, stroke team members will learn how to apply best practices in ICH for the treatment of their patients.
This CME/CE activity is part of the ICH Training, Education, Awareness and Management (iTEAM™) Initiative, chaired by Mark Alberts, MD, Professor of Neurology and Director of the Stroke Program at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine, and is designed to improve the care of patients with ICH from hospital admission through discharge.
